With the milder temps this winter, we haven't really gotten a ton of snow and since it's been warmer, when it does snow, we have been able to be outside more. it's been so nice!
Chloe's really loved it. :)
We also took a trip to the Sander's house this past weekend to enjoy some sledding there too:

Our Family Rules Project
Now that I am on pinterest.com I have been able to better keep track of my creative/constructive projects that I want to do. Next up, My Family Rules project.
I got the idea from http://thepleatedpoppy.com/2009/09/family-rules-canvas/ and plan on coming up with Urbach-Sanders rules for our house.
So here are a few rules that I have thought of so far:
Dance Like no one is watching
Be Honest, Kind and Caring
Have Respect, Give respect
Do onto others as you would have done onto you
Be confident
Always Try at least once
Look before you leap
Clean up after yourself
Never Give up
Love Generously
Laugh often
Always keep your promises
Act responsibly, Choose wisely
Be silly

Kahuna Laguna, Red Jacket Resort, North Conway, NH.
We went to New Hampshire this weekend for a quick little trip!
This was Chloe's way of stylin on the way up! She was rockin' her sunglasses.
I took this amazing picture while we were driving. You cannot even tell that I took it through the windshield, which is pretty amazing in itself!
There were sleigh rides the night we were there, but we were totally unprepared and didn't bring the right clothes to be outside, in NH, in the winter! I know it seems silly, but we brought stuff for the waterpark, not snow! So, we didn't end up going, but we enjoyed looking at the horses for a few minutes.
This is Chloe posing in front of the windows of our hotel room. She liked the sunset in the background and the snow on the mountains in the distance.
Dan and Chloe before we headed to the waterpark!
The beautiful sunset-- I took this from our "patio" that was covered in snow. Dan thought I was nuts, going outside, when it was 7 degrees to get a picture.. who does that?
Another pretty view from our "patio."
Inside Kahuna Laguna. Getting ready to go swimmin with daddy in the wave pool.
"Hurry up with the pictures mom, we're excited!!"
Mommy & Chloe-- getting ready for the water slides!!
Her favorite area to be.. it had pretty cool slides, and lots of water that shot out of the ground (this is where are the pics below are taken)...
Then, when she got brave, she went to the bigger kids area for a little fun:
After playing at the waterpark for a few hours, we went to dinner at our favorite place in New Hampshire, The Red Fox. We discovered this place last year when we went to storyland-- best food ever!
I love love love this picture of Chloe & Dan that I snapped before leaving the Red Fox.
And, this is what we get after such a fun-filled weekend trip!

Just a girl and her dog :)
There are moments in life that are priceless. Today was one of those days. Chloe was so happy to get home today, partly because she was tired, and partly because it was cold & windy. When we got home, she ran into the house and said "oh Broc, where are you buddy?!? I missed you" and she sat down and immediately started loving on him. She allowed me to get my camera, actually smiled for me, and Broc even sat still for awhile. It was pretty cute. She's a silly girl :) So, amongst laughing at her, and her loving on Broc, I managed to snap a few pics. I kept 'em black & white so that they would fit in with this weeks theme :)

Week 2: black & whites
The two amigos today at the park. Chloe & Joseph are in the same pre-k class and they enjoy playing together, so any day we can go to the park after school, we do. And, since they had almost the same hat on, I decided I needed a pic. However, my silly daughter rarely smiles, she makes faces :) Still adorable.

Week 1: Sky
Winter has been good to us this year! Warm temps setting record highs. This was taken at Rotary park in Westerly, RI. January 6, 2012. The sky was perfect for this weeks photo challenge-- lots of clouds, bright sunshine, and a blue sky that made me long for spring!
